Skipton Tutoring is run by Andy Solloway, a qualified teacher, who provides high quality, one-to-one tutoring for children who intend to take the Eleven + Selection Tests for the Selective Schools in Skipton.

As you may be aware Skipton and its locality have a selective secondary education system, whereby both Skipton Girls High School and Ermysteds Boys Grammar School conduct selection tests for entrance to these schools. These tests take place in the first weeks of Year 6 and are in both Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Andy has been tutoring children in the techniques and approaches to the 11+ Tests for several years, and has a very good track record of success in children from within and outside the catchment area of these schools. Using a dedicated programme of study, involving pre-prepared materials and one-to-one 11 plus tuition, Andy provides a sound basis for giving your child the best chance of success in these tests. 

11 + Tuition takes place at Andys family home in Skipton, in a relaxed and comfortable environment and all study materials are provided.
