Skipton Tutoring is run by Andy Solloway, a qualified teacher, who provides a high quality, one-to-one 11+ tuition for children who intend to take the Eleven + Selection Tests for the Selective Schools in Skipton.
As you may be aware, Skipton and its local area have a selective secondary education system, whereby both Skipton Girls High and Ermysteds Boys Grammar School conduct selection tests for entrance to these schools. These take place in the first weeks of Year 6. Girls take 11+ tests in Verbal Reasoning, Maths and English and boys take eleven plus tests in Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, as well as English and Maths.
Andy has been tutoring children in the techniques and approaches to the 11+ Tests for several years, and has an excellent track record of success in teaching children from both within, and outside the catchment area of these schools. Using a dedicated programme of study, involving fully prepared materials and one-to-one tuition, Andy provides a sound basis for giving your child the best chance of success in these eleven plus tests.
